In the month of August and September, sessions were conducted on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Orientation session: |
Orientation sessions were held in all the classes of college to brief students about the services provided by the counseling center and to make them aware about the venue timings and days of the center.

Individual sessions: |
Career counseling sessions were held for various students from all streams in Junior and Degree College. Various queries from students were answered about courses, their eligibility, entrance exams and institutes. Information was also given about general options after HSC and after Graduation to many students. Personal counseling sessions were also held for a few students.

Group sessions: |
In all, 5 group sessions were held; two for HSC Science, two for TYBA Arts and one for HSC Arts. The topic of these talks was 'Importance of Career Planning'. The basic idea behind doing this workshop was to create awareness about planning career and explaining them what factors have to be taken into consideration while planning career.

Career Counseling |
Students came in with their career queries to the center. The queries that they came up with were option after HSC, options after graduation, information about entrance exams, options in the field of economics, acting, management, etc.

On 1st and 2nd of December 2008, SIES Counseling Center participated in the Career Fair "Manzilein". Help desk was arranged where the SIES career counselor was present on both the days from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, to answer various career related queries of the students who came to visit the fair and also for registration of students for aptitude testing which will take place on the Counseling cell days in SIES shortly.

Students approached the help desk for different kind of career queries like options in the field of economics, biotechnology, engineering, pharmacy, and options after graduations, entrance exams for engineering and medicine and so forth.?
