Day 1 (21-10-2013):- Diyas were bought and were decorated by the students. For decorating diyas, varied forms of glitters, glass mirrors and colourful paints were used. As a substitute for natural flame, small battery was stuck to the edge of the diyas and LED bulbs were used in order to make it lit. This is a very user-friendly as well as an environment conscious effort taken by our students. From 9 .00 a.m. to 2:00 pm, 22 pairs of diyas were decorated and packed.

They were displayed in the college foyer and soon attracted many. From 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. there was high demand and quick selling took place. In fact it gained so much popularity that more orders were taken for preparing the diyas on the same day.
Day 3 (23-10-2013):- The group of students gathered momentum to fulfill the increasing orders for the diyas. So day three was dedicated entirely for buying and decorating of diyas as per the number of orders placed. Diyas were sold out on the same day. Ms. Prachi Punjabi along with her entire team worked hard in synch with each other to make this possible and ensured the success of the event.?
