| Placement Cell Activities for the Year 2012-13 |
- The Rotaract Club (RC) of SIES in collaboration with the Placement Cell organised a workshop for the students who were supposed to be a part of the campus recruitment. This whole event happened over a span of 3 days (21st - 24th July, 2012 ). The sessions covered a lot of things that helped the students prepare for their interview. Mr. Rajesh Srivastav conducted the seminar for the students.

- Organized a lecture on ?Career Opportunities in Aviation Industries? in association with ?Aptech Academy? on Friday 17th August 2012. It was attended by more than 100 students from all the streams.

- Organized a lecture for T.Y.B.Sc. and M.Sc. students on ?Study Abroad? in association with ?Aliff Overseas Consultants? on Thursday 13th September 2012. It was attended by more than 80 students from all the subjects.

- A workshop on ?Resume Writing and How to Face Interviews? was conducted on 29th January 2013 for the students who have registered with the Placement Cell. The?resource persons were Ms. Benita Fernando and Ms. Seema C. from English Department, Degree College.?It was attended by 66 students. It was well received by all the participants.

- A Seminar on ?Study Abroad? was arranged for the students of S. Y. and T.Y. classes on 16th February 2013. It was attended by 26 students. The resource person was from Sussex?University.

- Campus interviews were conducted by WNS Global Services for the post of Analysts for T.Y.B.Com and B.M.S. students on 13th February 2013. 15 Students were short? listed for the written test. Out of them following 10 students cleared the?Written Test.?
