| The aims and objectives of the Research Advisory Committee : |
|
- To Guide and direct various types of Research Projects both minor and major in progress and to be initiated by the Staff Members of the College.
- To help the Research students and their guiding teachers to interact with other Research Scientists and Research Institutes for collaborative work, to liaise between industries and corporate for consultancy work and to place the students in industries and Research Centres for short term training in advanced instrumentation.
- To interact with NGO?s to develop social outreach programme (SOPs).
- To advise on the development of infrastructure (Laboratories, instrumentations, Library etc.) required for Research activities.
- To train the teachers to draft / prepare Research proposals / projects to be submitted to various funding agencies like UGC, DBT, DST, ICMR, ICAR, and ICPR.
- To guide teachers for publication of their research findings in peer ? reviewed journals.
- To guide teachers for ?Patenting? their novel / unique research breakthroughs
- To support the efforts of teachers in developing short term innovative courses for UG and PG students.
- To create awareness regarding Conferences/ Symposia / Seminars / Workshops held at National level.
- To offer expertise for ?research communication? for writing research paper, paper presentation etc.
