  1. Display of Books on ?Various Career Options? & Competitive Examinations?was held in the?? Reading Hall,? Fourth? Floor,?from? Monday, 2nd? August, 2010? to? Friday,? 6th? August, 2010? (9.00 A.M.? TO 4.00 P.M.)
  2. A display of Books on Genetics, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Bio Chemistry was held in the Reading Hall from 9th Aug '10?to 13th Aug '10 from?9 am to 4 pm.
  3. A display of books on "Photography and Journalism" was held in the 4th floor Reading hall from Tuesday, 17th August 2010 to Saturday, 21st August 2010(9am to 4pm)
  4. The Library and Mathematics Department jointly organized a display of books on?Mathematics was held in the 4th floor Reading hall from?Monday 6th?Sept 2010 to Thursday,?9th Sept 2010 (9am to 4pm)
  5. A display of books on?Physics?was held in the 4th floor Reading hall from?Tuesday, 14th?Sept 2010 to Friday,?17th Sept 2010 (9 am to 4 pm) organized jointly by Library and Physics Association

Accessibility Learning Session
Workshop? on? ?Accessibility Learning Session? ? A Step towards more informed educators! ?was organized in collaboration with Microsoft? & Barrier Break Technologies on 6th July 2011. Its aim was to train the Trainers and Care Takers of differently abled students.
The training consisted of additional features of? Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2011. Innovative products of? Barrier Break Technologies to assist differently abled? students were displayed and hands on training was imparted.
This Workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Yashwant More, Research Officer and Member Secretary, Principal Dr. Harsha Mehta, and? Mr. Siddharth from Microsoft.
Around 40 participants from various institutions in Mumbai attended the Workshop and it was highly appreciated.?

Book Bank Scheme:
During the year 2011-12, ?14 students were provided 87 books under the Book Bank Scheme.
External membership:
Library services were provided to outsiders completely free of cost as follows ?

Automation:?
  • In order to bring the recent additions to the notice of the students and staff members, cover pages of recent additions are scanned and posted on the computers as screensavers.
  • Soft copies of Syllabus for the current academic year are available for reference and photocopying.
  • Digitized copies of question papers are available to students for reference; the same can also be printed according to their needs.
  • CD?s / DVD?s of programs / lectures organized within the institution are available to staff and students for viewing within the premises.

Free Remedial Coaching in English
Five days Free Remedial Coaching in English was held from 5th Sept 2012 to 12thSept 2012 by Ms. Chitra Iyer ( Retd. Professor from English Department, Junior College ) forthe Visually Challenged students.
