Placement Cell Activities for the Year 2013-14 |

The Placement cell consists of Convener Prof. Kiran Nabar and a team of nine?highly experienced and efficient staff members selected from various departments. The convener along with the team members makes all arrangements for the benefit of the students. They invite companies to hold aptitude tests and interviews select eligible students and then give job placements. The convener takes all the care to execute these exercises. |
During the year 2013-2014, following were the activities conducted: |
- A lecture on ?Study Abroad? was arranged for the students of T.Y.B.Sc and M.Sc (IT and Computer Science) students in association with Geebee Education on 3rd August 2013. It was attended by more than 100 students. The lecture helped the students to know about various courses offered in foreign universities, admission formalities, financial assistance etc. The session was quite interactive.
- An orientation lecture was arranged for TYBCom and TYBMS students in association with ?INQUISITIVE LEARNING?. It was held on 13th December 2013. The aim of this program was to discuss job opportunities for Commerce and BMS students. The lecture was attended by 41 students.
- A lecture on ?Gandhi Fellowship Program? was organized in association with Piramal Foundation on 9th January 2014. It was attended by more than 100 students from all streams. The resource persons included a Gandhi Fellowship recipient.
- A lecture on ?Study abroad? was organized on 11th January 2014 for TYBSc, BMM and BMS students. The lecture was attended by about 55 students.
- Campus interview for TYBMS students for financial posts was arranged on 24th January 2014. The interview was conducted by De Wise Advise Private Limited. Thirty three students appeared and 22 were shortlisted.
- ICICI Prudential conducted campus interview for BMS students for HR and financial position on 27th January 2014. Thirty students appeared, 23 students were shortlisted for the final interview.
