Research Activities
In the year 2008 ? 2009 the Committee has forwarded to the University Grant Commission (UGC) proposals for Seven minor research projects, Instrumentation Maintenance Facility (IMF) and Jubilee grant for the College Library.
  • 07 ? Applied to the UGC for grants for Minor Research Projects
  • Staff Members are motivated to take up research activities. So far 11 Minor Research Projects are submitted to the UGC for funding.
  • Accordingly a Research Advisory Committee has been formed and is functional, the details of which are already listed in the Criterion Inputs. Faculty is motivated to take up research projects under various schemes especially University and University Grants Commission minor and major research projects. Two UGC Minor research projects and Eight University Research Projects are complete. Eleven UGC minor research projects are awaiting approval.
