Besides intellectual development we try our best to provide the students with proper resources to make them productive and responsible citizens. Inculcating into them leadership qualities is another objective behind exposing the students to various events and community services.
Health and Sanitation have been the key areas addressed by us this year. We have tried to create awareness in the weaker sections of the society regarding hygiene and sanitation.

Alert India organised Leprosy awareness workshop for Junior College students.

NAB (National Association for Blind) presented a film making students aware of their responsibility towards visually impaired students. Students made good contribution for the cause.

As part of the Green Mumbai, Clean Mumbai the NSS Volunteers planted trees at Maharashtra Nature Park, Dharavi and at Shivbhakta Adivasi Ashram Shala, Lavili.

- Gender sensitization has always been on our priority list. Our efforts have been continued in this direction and have tie-ups with NGO like Akshara, Katha and in Collaboration we have screened several films based on Women issues.

- 11 Students of SIES College played an exemplary role with their presence of mind, resulting in the arrest of three women illegally selling tiger claws in the city.
