MEGA REUNION - "DANDIYA NIGHT FOLLOWED BY DINNER" |
A Mega Reunion?for the Ex-Students of S.I.E.S College of Arts, Science & Commerce was organised by SIES Past Students' Association on Saturday, 12th April 2008 in the college premises. The functions was attended by almost 185 alumni and the event was enjoyed by all. We thank all those who made this event a success.

SIES COLLEGE PAST STUDENTs ASSOCIATION (P.S.A.) |
The Association, through its various activities, has established a very close link with its Alma Mater. It has always identified itself, in terms of raising funds and actual participation, with all the major projects of the college. The Association made a generous donation of Rs.50,000/- to supplement the Society.s efforts to introduce Microbiology as a special subject at the B.Sc. Today Microbiology has a full-fledged department, offering upto Postgraduate course of study. The Association has instituted Scholarships to be awarded to outstanding students in academics. The Association has donated Rs. 75,000/- towards a class room in the S.I.E.S.College of Commerce and Economics. The other regular activities of the PSA are organizing book exhibitions, career guidance workshops, Inter-Collegiate competitions etc.

STAFF WELFARE SCHEME ADOPTED BY PAST STUDENTS ASSOCIATION |
- Workshop on Neuro Lingistic Programming (NLP) was conducted by Prof. K.Balakrishnan, who is also an Ex-Student of the college. The lecture was held on Saturday, 15th March 2008 for second year degree college students.

- A Health Check up Camp for the Non Teaching Staff of our college was organized under the aegis of the Past Students Association of our college jointly with the PG DMLT programme of the college.

- The health check up camp was started in August 2007, and was held on every Friday, Dr. Arti Agarwal, a General Physician
|
- The Non-Teaching staff were given a questionnaire to fill in, which included, their family history, any inherited diseases, dietary habits, vices like smoking and drinking and general complaints if any. They were checked all for Obesity and Hypertension.

- Workshop by volunteers from the 'Art of living' was conducted
|
- An Eye Check Up camp was organized for the entire college, students, teaching and non teaching staff with the help of Lotus Eye Hospital.
|
- A Dental Check Up Camp was also organized with the help of Dr. Bhumika Mehta.
|
- Mr. Joseph Paul, De-addiction Expert, Medical Social Works at BSES Hospital, Andheri will be conducting a workshop on Substance Abuse for Non-Teaching Staff members.
